When is it necessary to start speaking a foreign language?

What most of all develops our oral speech when we learn a new language?

The answer is banal and simple – oral speech is developed by conversation and there can’t be any development of colloquial skills until we really start speaking a foreign language.

But when can we start talking? And who can be our talking partner? It is possible to begin to speak when we know basic grammar and basic vocabulary. What does “basic vocabulary” mean when we learn to speak foreign language?

Having known 500 – 700 most widespread words of foreign language, it is already possible to make a conversation in foreign language on general subjects, and also it is useful to know 50-100 set expressions. Possessing these skills, we can already communicate with native speakers - it is very interesting, you know, at once such feeling appears as if wings have been grown behind your back, and there is a wish to master language even better!

Then, on a course of further development of language by reading literature and effective work with texts we can perfect colloquial skills, and our language will progress not on days, but on hours.

Where can we look for native speakers for communication? The whole Internet is for you and for your service, you have to believe that there are a lot of people who look for interlocutors for communication in any foreign language (and in own one too) from different countries of the world, it is necessary to know only where to find them. 

And the most important thing is that you shouldn’t hesitate and be afraid - you just begin to learn to speak foreign language, and the first success in this training will give you new forces!
